THE BAROQUE STYLE.
Sweden's stake on the Baroque Style chandeliers is light, yet with lots of prisms.The original Baroque Style was pompous and elaborate, the chandeliers were very heavy with prisms of different style and sizes. Crystal chandeliers in the Baroque Collections are available with many types of prisms: almonds or French pendeloques or cracked crystal almonds. As noted for each model, there is extensive use of octagons, stars and/or rosettes. Some of the chandeliers in the Baroque Style are outfitted with electric candles while most are outfitted with brass cups to receive wax candles. Crystal balls or crystal obelisks can be ordered for the candle cups for a reasonable price.
